Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan (GCFR)

Supproting the Transformation Agenda of the Federal Government

MOVE ON NGERIA --- One person at a time

About Us

Move On Nigeria is a non -profit, education issue advocacy group founded in 2011 primarily to elect President Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan, GCFR. Because we believe that citizens understanding of government policies are key to their involvement and participation in the building of a better society, after the 2011 election we felt the compelling need to refocus on important national issues, explaining government policies, organizing the grassroots and galvanizing favorable public opinions for democratic actions so as to deflate the divisive antics of the opposition aimed at destabilizing the polity for parochial political gains.

GOALS:

We support the Transformation Agenda and provide online tools which we make available to progressive candidates and technocrats who reflect our values.

What we do:

We focus on leadership Strategy and Communication, an audacious plan designed to unleash people's power and support for government policies.

We are building a network of over thirty (30) million supporters from across Nigeria and the Diaspora who are encouraged to take actions in defense of the Transformation Agenda. Our members are encouraged to participate in civic actions and to take actions by making useful calls, tweeting, liking policy pages and rebutting embarrassing attacks on the president and Federal Government policies.

Our members and volunteers hold local events within their communities to explain government policies and mobilize support for such policies.

Because our actions drive the news, we make the voices of real Nigerians to be heard in Abuja and standing alongside anyone doing the same where ever they lived.

We also put pressures on lawmakers through phone calls, e-mail and signed petitions compelling them to support executive bills and to fight for progress.
