UN Secretary-General Commends Nigeria on Ebola

The United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon commended President Goodluck Jonathan on his administration’s efforts in containing the spread of the dreaded Ebola Virus Disease in the country.

Goodluck_Jonathan_and_Ban_Ki_Moon.jpgSpeaking at a meeting held with President Jonathan on the sideline of the 69th Session of the UN General Assembly, Ban-Ki commended the efforts of the government and all stakeholders in containing the virus.

This commendation by the UN Secretary-General comes as the World Health Organization declared Nigeria Ebola free and also commended President Jonathan for providing the leadership needed to contain the virus.
